waves that
break
at stratums
of pulsing veins.
listen
to the ache
for a feeling

seen.
touch
the fear
that
rumbles
between

Nineteen
the wind is fast
and the ache is sour
in the air.
the cars are rushing by
and there’s a quiet hope
that they are all
headed somewhere.
it is all so
much.
and so little.
all at once.
and
it will take a while.
to let go.
of this all.
but I am starting.
