deliverance

Existent

in the absence

of assurance

Thinking

that this madness

will somehow

bow

into our own deliverance

That somehow

there is more

to this

than this

That somehow

this fragments

of attachment

will

make us feel

less absent

That somehow

these

bouts of

doubt

are only temporary.

But

we

are only temporary

and this

madness

,

this ‘madness’

is our deliverance.

it always waits I

annie-spratt-397351.jpg

it always waits.

long enough

for me to begin

to forget.

to have

a semblance

of certainty

in a new reality

where things are slightly better.

normal, maybe.

long enough

so my eyes

can collapse

into dreams

bursting at the seams

with what seems

to be tranquility.

long enough

to feel as though

it was long enough

ago

and i can finally

let go.

until it stops waiting.

Opaque

Past events

pass through vents

Blowing

streaks of their

presence

Like presents

Opaque

and

Unseen

Until scenes

Replay

and stay

In tents

bellowing

and blowing

their forever.
