marvel at the flowers
wither.
and remember
the beauty.
in your falter

sometimes the skies
hold you
at the edge
of your breath
and ask you
to feel it
all

i am softest
when
i am
(al)one
with
the moon
and the sky
// hudson biko

it’s just past midday.
the adieu
in a milieu
of hues
linger in the orange.
the seas
of leaves
sit still
on the edges
of the branches.
there is a luminescence.
in the absence.
of the stress
to stay.
and it is so beautiful.

I’ve been taking more pictures of sunsets.
I suppose
As a reminder
that endings can be beautiful too.
And come again.
