weep

in emptying halls

eyelids caught

hearts weeping

endings of yesterdays

and promises of tomorrows.

( but todays flowed )

this too will end.

tears will become

rivers

we learnt to swim.

you feel less.

i pick each thought

from wilting branches

examining their exterior

under the sun

of a mind

scorching

as it burns

underneath the flames

it created

but never

knows how to put out
